Richard and Mildred Slater recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a celebration given by their children.

They were married June 13, 1959, in Flint, Mich.

They have four children, Lucinda and her husband, Steven Merrill, of Litchfield; Richard and his wife, Cindy, of Glastonbury, Conn.; James of Nashua; and David and his wife, Lisa, of Nashua.

The Slaters have nine grandchildren, John, Amber and Devin of Glastonbury, Conn.; Tyler of Littleton; and Jordyn, Jacob, Jeffrey, Marissa and Trevor of Nashua.

Dick retired from Honeywell Bull and Mildred retired from Digital Equipment Corp.
