Gordon Peter Sr and Ellen (McInnis) Daly, of Glen, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 22 during a brunch at the Country Tavern.

The Dalys were married Nov. 20, 1959, in Boston.

They have three children, Gordon Jr., Glenn and Geralyn.

Gordon retired from the U.S. Navy as a chief petty officer and is a Vietnam veteran. He substitute teaches at the local schools.

Ellen is a retired nurse and taught nursing students at Rivier and Regis colleges. She works for the local Visiting Nurse Association in North Conway.
