John and Beryl (Day) Gleeson, of Fuguay-Varina, N.C., former longtime residents of Nashua, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Mr. and Mrs. Gleeson were born in Nottingham, England. They were married June 25, 1960, at St. Teresa R.C. Church in Nottingham. They have three children, Julie Gleeson, Lindsey Monahan and Suzanne Valcour and five grandchildren, A.J. and Amanda Rodriguez, Tommy Monahan and Brianna and Emily Valcour, all still residing in Nashua and Merrimack.

Mr. and Mrs. Gleeson are planning an anniversary trip to Hawaii later this year.
