Mr. and Mrs. Gerald and Carol Hurwitch of Merrimack, NH, are proud to announce the engagement of their son Corey Hurwitch to Stacie Gavaletz, daughter of Robert and Janet Gavaletz of Selkirk, New York.

Ms. Gavaletz is a Veteran of The U.S. Navy and a graduate of SUNY Empire State College. She is currently pursuing a degree in Emergent Literacy & Child Psychology. She is currently employed as a Library technician at Joan Weill Adirondack Library of Paul Smith College.

Mr. Hurwitch is a 1996 graduate of Merrimack High School and received a Bachelors Degree in Aviation Management in 2000 from Daniel Webster College. He is currently employed as an assistant airport manager at Adirondack Regional Airport in New York.

A September 2010 wedding is planned at Lake George, New York.
