John and Judith Doherty, of Nashua, NH, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathan B. Doherty, to Michael F. Pierce, son of James “Bud” and Josephine Pierce, of Medford, MA.
Ms. Doherty is a 1998 graduate of Nashua High School. She graduated from Villanova University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree. She also earned a Master of Science in Accounting and an MBA from Boston College in 2006.
Mr. Pierce is a 1996 graduate of Arlington Catholic High School. He graduated from Bentley University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He also earned a Masters in Business Administration from Bentley University in 2004.
They are both employed as Directors of Finance at Fidelity Investments in Boston where the couple met. Michael is also the co-owner of Pierce Properties Real Estate located in Medford.
The wedding is planned for July 7th 2012 at St. Raphael Church in Medford followed by a celebration at The Boston Harbor Hotel.
The couple plans to reside in Medford.
