Anne Louise Lavigne and Peter Henry Goulbourne were joined in marriage at Searles Chapel School in Windham NH on December 10, 2011 surrounded by family and friends. Jeanne Pounder, JP officiated as Justice of the Peace, & Kevin Kandel co-officiated and performed a Celtic handfasting ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jerome and Louise Lavigne of Windham, NH. The groom is the son of Thomas and Sheila Goulbourne of Stroud, England. Maid of Honor was Ms. Dana Laviano, a close friend since childhood. Ms. Laviano’s daughters were the other members of the wedding party. Miss Sofia Gutierrez was the Ring Maiden, and Miss Teresa Gutierrez was the Flower Fairy.
Marcia Wilson of Eyes on Owls presented four varieties of owls at the following reception. The Bride is a 1993 graduate of the University of NH with a Bachelor’s degree in English and a 2003 graduate of University of Phoenix with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She works as a nurse in women’s health in the New England Area.
The Groom attended Thomas Keble School in England, apprenticed as a carpenter in 1989, and has worked in construction and landscaping in England. He is presently awaiting green card status here in the United States.
The couple honeymooned at the Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods, NH.
